In March, the Congressional Progressive Caucus announced a slate of recommended executive actions the Biden administration could take to push the President’s agenda forward while delivering on behalf of working families.
Enacting this slate of recommended executive actions would give millions of workers a raise by increasing the overtime eligibility threshold to $83,000, lift the burden of student debt for more than 43 million borrowers, lower prescription drug prices for some 38 million people, and more.
Data for Progress will be tracking the status of the Congressional Progressive Caucus’ executive action campaign and its eight issue areas — providing updates on whether or not there has been progress within the Biden administration to use executive authorities to advance bold and popular priorities.
